Good colour range
Hexagonal barrel makes the marker is easy and comfortable to hold and won’t roll off a flat surface.
4mm fine tip makes these markers very good for coloring fine details and intricate designs
Water-based fast drying ink which doesn’t smear
They have identifying numbers for each of the colors printed on the barrel
Colour on cap is not always a good indicator of the ink color
Limited bleed through or shadowing on many different qualities of paper
Cons
Can be scratchy and stiff to use Not great to use for coloring large open spaces due to the very small tip.
They can tear up or pill different papers if you colour over the same spot more than once.
Tips are hard and it can take quite some time and use before they soften up and start to feel like they flow more smoothly across the paper.

Conclusion / Recommendations
These are good fineliners with a good vibrant color range.
I do find them to be quite scratchy and they do take a really long time and a lot of use before they soften up enough to feel really smooth across the paper.
There are some great colours in this fineliner range that differ to those found in the Staedtler ® triplus ® fineliners (334 Triangular fineliner). The Stabilo ® point 88 ® Fineliners have a pale skin color, a navy blue and a dark turquoise which I find really useful.
These are good markers to use when coloring anything with small details and intricate designs.
These markers do need good fine motor control to get the best out of them so if you’re not used to using fineliners, there could be a learning curve when you first start using them. This also means they may not be the best choice for you if you have fine motor issues.
I recommend making a color chart. Make sure you subscribe to theColoringInn.com so you can access my pre-prepared Stabilo ® Point 88 ® Fineliners color chart template for free.
